TICKETS
Why should I renew my tickets?
Renewing your tickets guarantees your current seats, and locks in the lowest price for your tickets.
What should I know before I renew my ticket order?
We suggest you review What's New for 2024 and the Grandstand Location Map and Price Chart before placing your order to make yourself familiar with all the options available.
How do I renew?
The fastest way to process your renewal is by logging into your online account. Log In Now. You may also call the Detroit Grand Prix Ticket Office at 866.464.7749. Please be patient as phone lines are busy during the renewal period. A message should be left if you reach voicemail; all calls are returned.
When processing your renewal online, simply select "Renew", "Don't Renew" or "Request a Change" for each item on your renewal form. You can also increase or decrease quantities by using the up and down arrows.
If you would like to renew your complete 2023 ticket order, simply use the "Add All to Renewal" button at the top of the form.
How do I change my ticket order?
When reordering your tickets, you may reduce your quantity, request additional seats or request a change to another seat location. If you request a change, your current tickets will be held and charged to your credit card (less any reduction in quantity) until we process seat relocations.
If you are submitting a Change Request, simply select the day, grandstand preference, maximum price and quantity. Any special notations should be entered in the Additional Comments text box.
How are Change Requests processed?
We begin to process Change Requests after the renewal deadline. Requests for seat relocations are processed by account seniority, availability, and order date - it is advantageous to renew early.
Account seniority is gained by purchasing tickets on a yearly basis on the same account. Due to limited inventory and high demand in popular locations, higher seniority has more opportunity for improvement.
If your request is granted, you will then be charged/refunded/invoiced for any balance.
What if my Change Request cannot be processed?
When requesting seat relocation, your current assignment is protected. If we are unable to make the requested change, you will retain your assigned seats from the previous year.
What if I have a very specific request?
All specific requests should be noted in the text box provided with the Change Request. Please keep in mind that very specific seat requests, aisle seating, top row, front row, etc., can be difficult to fulfill in high demand areas and make relocations more limited.
Will I be contacted prior to my tickets being assigned?
You will not be contacted to discuss options.
What if I don't like the seats I am assigned?
If your seat relocation request is more general, comparable seating will be assigned. Sales are final and non-refundable, however we do our best to accommodate our ticketholders. Within the week of receiving your order confirmation if you are unhappy with the seats assigned, you can call the Ticket Office to explore other options.
What if I want to purchase new additional items?
Requests to purchase additonal items are submitted by using the "Apply for Additional Seat(s)" or "Apply for Parking" options below your listed renewal items.
Some items can be added to your ticket order by using the "Continue to Add-ons" option at the bottom of the renewal screen prior to check out.
What should I know about my payment?
Credit cards on file or new credit card submissions should have an expiration date of 2024 or beyond.
If I choose to not renew my tickets, when can I pick my seats online or by phone?
The next opportunity to purchase tickets would be during our presale which is expected to occur in early December 2023.
I have submitted my renewal/application and need to make a change, what should I do?
You can call the Ticket Office at 866.464.7749 or send and email to tickets@DetroitGP.com
